...and it wasn't pretty. They say the next one's are easier - I sure hope so.
You can't see it unless you're up really close, but, trust me, it's there ;)

Still Weathering the Storm
It's here. That week every parent dreads. Your child is blissfully going through his or her day, when, BAM! It strikes. STOMACH FLU. Of course, I've been researching like crazy, and I've determined it's rotavirus. Yes, the District of Columbia made her get the vaccine, but, clearly, it wasn't effective. We're on day 7. Day 7!! I now know what it means to dread the night. When will my little baby get better??

The Lion Sleeps Tonight
The metal platform holding the mattress broke last night (she's fine!). The rest of the night went something like this...
The new crib isn't coming for a week. Oh, geez...

Santa Claus is Coming!
Well, he still has some time to get all my presents ready, but we went ahead and got the tree just in case he decides to come early ;)
Here's us getting the tree at Eastern Market...
And even though mommy loves tacky Christmas stuff, daddy won out with the white lights...but only because he's the one who put them up!

Thanksgiving, The State College Way
Yay for my first Thanksgiving! Daddy had to work on Black Friday, so we didn't get to stay long, but I had a lot of fun playing with my cousins and eating all the yummy food that Aunt Stephy made. Here's some goodies...
All the sweet potatoes, mashed potatoes, stuffing, cranberry sauce, and turkey made me tired!
Mommy says the two most important things in the whole wide world are gratitude and compassion - tis the season! Hope everyone's holiday is off to a wonderful start!
