Yesterday was my first official day in the toddler room! I was all excited, and then.... One of my friends was crying, so I tried to give him a hug. And he bit me. On my face. My self defense classes start this weekend.

Hugs and Kisses

I love hugs! I give all my friends at school hugs and kisses, and this weekend I spent lots of time hugging Heisman :) Daddy has also taught me to say "aaawww" when I hug. It's all very cute.

In other BIG news - today is the first day I'm taking a nap on the cot! The ladies told my mommy that I'm getting ready to transition up to the next room - when did I become a toddler??

AND I turned one on Monday! My birthday party is this weekend - so stay tuned :)

Up to no good?

I will be soon! Yesterday I took my first steps!!! I took a few at daycare and then a few more later at night. Today, I took eight steps, and mommy caught some on video.



This was about mommy's 50th try, so you may or may not hear a sound of exasperation at the end...
